Sub requests
Sub requests that keep your rules.
When a volunteer can't make it, the hard part isn't asking. It's finding someone who's trained, screened, and keeps the room at two adults. Arkrooms asks only those people, so the first yes is a good one.
Subs without the scramble
The right people are asked, and the rules are still kept.
- Ask in two taps
- “Can't make it?” goes only to people who can take that room without breaking a rule: the next teams first, then everyone.
- Subs as trades
- Optional: whoever covers you, you cover them, and Arkrooms keeps track of who owes a Sunday.
- Swaps between teammates
- Two volunteers trade Sundays, checked against the same rules.
- Leaders approve
- An optional approval step, one tap from the email.
- Emergencies
- A last-minute call-out alerts the leaders and asks every team at once.
- Who stepped up
- Stats show who covered for others, so you can thank them.

Questions
Who gets asked?
Only people who could take that room and keep every rule: trained, screened if you require it, free that Sunday, and not making the room break a rule like two adults or a woman in every room. The next teams in the rotation are asked first, then everyone.
Does the leader have to do anything?
Not unless you want them to. Approval is optional, and when it's on it's one tap from the email.
Does it update Planning Center?
Yes, once you publish to Planning Center Services: the sub is put on the plan, and the person they covered can be marked Declined with a note saying who covered.
We just need the wording for now.
